MAD ABOUT SCIENCE
Whether you are really MAD ABOUT SCIENCE or just love learning cool new stuff about the world we live in...
Mad About Science is a reading program designed for students in grades 2-4 and their families. The program was created to provide quality science literature to elementary children while fostering a connection between home and school.
HOW IT WORKS:
LABORATORY JOURNAL & INCENTIVE PRIZES:
Parents are encouraged to read and discuss each book with their children because of the challenging nature of nonfiction literature. Parents should sign their child’s Laboratory Journal after completion of each book bag. Students may bring their Laboratory Journal to Mr. Cormier’s office to receive a Wizard sticker and stamp for each completed book bag. After a student completes 3 bags, he or she will be recognized and receive a special prize at All-School Meeting.
