2. Here’s a video I made for 4th grade teachers to learn about the different types of soil they were studying in class. I prepped a garden bed and then Boris Samarov’s class came outside and planted some kale in one of the beds. here’s the video:

3. Here’s a video about seed life cycles, particularly the practice of saving seeds in the fall including seeds from the 3 sisters garden we planted in spring of 2020. I sent this along with the video about planting the 3 sisters garden to the PRS 3rd grade team;

6. Here’s a video we made for 2nd grade, at the request of Cyndi Bonani. 2nd graders were learning about land forms and erosion and what plants need to grow so we made this video about why a garden is a good spot to put plants.

7. Also to prep 1st graders for their special Thanksgiving theme day, I made this video for them to share with students the story behind the book they read, Sarah Morton’s Day and to explain what they would be doing to “muck the garden” like Sarah does in the book. I brought a lot of leaves to PRS and the first graders went outside when I wasn’t there and covered several beds with leaves on that special themed day.

8. Here are 2 videos we did just for PRS because of a special request from Cyndi Bonani. They were really missing their annual field trip so we made a video for them about visiting the 6 learning stations of the farm but also added another video about land forms and erosion. We waited for a really rainy day when we could show water running down hills and dripping off rocks. Here are the links:
